We have stayed at this beautiful home multiple times. It’s the perfect layout for families and friends. Everything is fresh, clean and updated. Perfect location! And we love we can bring our Boston Terrier Louie! And Real Escapes is such a great company to work with! Always so responsive and accommodating!

We had the best time and a beautiful house!! Couldn’t ask for a better experience in St Simons!! We booked again for next year and also a fall adventure before our grand and great grandchild arrives in December!! Loved every minute!!

The house was good location was perfect kitchen was Great just a cleaning bathrooms in a lot of places on the house wedding really clean

House was very nice, very well-equipped. Location was great as well. Very clean upon check-in. We just wished there was a screend-in porch to enjoy sitting outside at night.

Overall, our experience at this property was excellent. There were a few areas of concern.
1) The 16 inch Webber grill was totally inadequate for nine people.

2) The Bosch refrigerator was great but again the ice maker was
Inadequate for nine people.

3) The back deck between pool and house was very slippery
when wet. This was pointed out in two previous
posts and should be remedied ASAP to limit owners liability
exposure.

I rented this property for my son and his family as an overflow house for our larger family who were staying in a bigger house 3 driveways away. All of us checked out the house and were envious of how great this house was. It was clean with a great layout and the closets were massive if you had to set up a crib. And there are tubs for bathing babies/kids which was fantastic compared to most rentals. The only ding would be the house sleeps 10 but the table only seats 4. Otherwise, I would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay! St. Simons has always been one of our very favorite places to vacation. We were close enough to walk to the beach and we really enjoyed relaxing by the pool! We had plenty of room to spread out! The kitchen was supplied with everything we needed too!

Loved our stay here! The house is gorgeous and up to date. We spent a lot of time on the porch outside by the pool. Also the location of the home is perfect, only a few minutes drive to Massengale Beach and to the pier/shops. I do wish the parking spots could be bigger for a 5 bedroom house but we were able to make it work with 2 trucks and a car so that we didn’t block the house behind us. Would stay here again!

We loved our stay at this property. The house had great amenities, such as a swimming pool. We loved the lay out of this house for a group. With bedrooms split across 1st and 2nd floor, everyone had ample space to spread out. Great master suite with separate, large en suite bathroom made this house extra special. We would recommend our stay here to any future guests! Working with Real Escapes, a property management company dedicated to rentals in the area made this stay a breeze. We came down to SSI for the first time to work for two weeks and needed a home that was nice and would allow two people to work. This home fit the bill. It is a beautiful new home with a pool and fenced in yard. The home was very well equipped and and clean. My only dings are the King sized bed should be replaced and the water pressure needs to be checked as it was weak at best. With those two items fixed we would rent this home again.

The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. It was perfect for a large group (We had 7 adults). We rented a golf cart and used it to get around the village.

This is a lovely house. It is unfortunate that the neighbor is a very nasty Man. So this home shares a driveway with the Home behind it. We were told up front about this and where we could park and not park. We had a very clear understanding of this. We were traveling with two vehicles and a small trailer with our golf cart on it. This information was given to the Property rental company and a conversation was had as to how we could park and where off location the trailer could be parked if we could not make it all fit on the pad. We were also traveling with two seniors 87 and 93 year old mothers and two others who are handicap. One of the handicap guest has a electric wheelchair we needed to unload. This meant that the ramp to facilitate this was out into the driveway by about 3 feet while loading and unloading. The process took no longer than 15 minutes. I explain all this to get to the nasty neighbor. Every morning at 7:00 am he on purpose was out with his blower standing under the windows on the driveway side of our house. Not his property to be blowing. He was doing it just to be annoying. When we were loading the electric wheelchair he called the police on us because we were blocking his driveway. The driveway was not blocked plus there is a ingress that is allowed. Once we started looking a post regarding previous stays and FB post regarding this man it became crystal clear that he wakes up everyday to make anyone who stays in this rental a living nightmare and has total intent to ruin their vacations. This time he infringed on the ADA Laws and he is going to get his due. On FB it has been dubbed the "one time house" because its a really nice house but you will only stay one time due to this neighbor. I feel compassion for the folks who own this property. You have a lovely home and it was perfect for our family with the exception of the very ugly man who lives behind the rental.

The house was absolutely beautiful and came well stocked above what we have experienced with other rentals. The only thing we would have changed is adding a coffee pot instead of a Keurig. We also could not get the icemaker to work. Other than that, it was a great experience.

Having never been to St Simon’s Island we weren’t sure what to expect in terms of the house, location, beaches. We couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised! The house was very clean, well stocked and beautifully decorated. Our party of 9 had plenty of room. We were close to town and the beaches, we can’t wait to go back!

We were a party of nine people, from ages 3-62. We had a great time, the house was wonderful. Very clean and accommodated everyone nicely. Everything worked great, no issues with anything at all. The location was great, we were able to walk to many places. None of us had ever been to the island before, so we were pleasantly surprised that such a small island offered so much for everyone in our group. The only complaint I would have is the back porch. The tile on the porch, when wet, becomes very slick. With a pool in the backyard, there are wet feet and we ended up having to put towels down so no one would slip on the tile.

We loved the house and the pool. We had an awesome stay we will definitely be back. The air wasn't working abs they sent someone right away. Great customer service and the house was awesome and very clean.

This was an impressive property, well appointed, and so very conveniently thought out. Certainly appreciate your efforts.

This property is amazing! Very clean and well equipped. Our girls weekend was most enjoyable. Can't wait to visit again in the future!!

House was very well equipped with everything we could need. Most houses don't have things like handsaop and saran wrap, etc. We were very pleasantly surprised! House was also well cleaned and maintained. The neighbor was very friendly.

We booked this house on a whim for a last minute Spring Break trip. I was skeptical about it because it was so last minute but we were pleasantly surprised just how nice the house was. I had read some negative reviews about the neighbor that is directly behind the house being nasty but we found he was just the opposite. He just wants his driveway to not be blocked which is his right. There’s a park across the street that can be used for more than 2 cars parking.
The house was very well kept and had so much that “normal” vacation homes do not have such as liquid hand soap in the bathrooms, Saran Wrap, ziploc bags, aluminum foil, dishwasher tabs etc. We also loved the layout of the house.
A suggestion to make this house even better would be adding some nicer outdoor furniture and maybe a fire table!

The property is exactly as shown. Everything is up to date, clean, and super convenient to all restaurants and shopping. Although we couldn't use it because the weather wasn't quite warm enough, the pool is an extra bonus! Furniture and furnishings were very nice. I only have two small suggestions: the lawn should be inspected between rentals. There were several dog pile droppings in back fenced area which should have been taken care of. The second thing is the King mattress is extremely loud an squeaky and feels a little worn on both sides. Other than that our stay was very nice.

Wonderful house. Even a pecan tree in backyard, very tasty. Perfect for small, or large, family.

The house was more than what we expected, met all our needs and more. The only downfall was you're allowed only two cars for parking at this rental so parking down the road at a park was not ideal but would do for a weekend. Also, having a neighbor right behind you but thank God there's a like 15 foot wall that blocks that view.

We had the best time. The house was perfect for 6! We all had our own beds, and had plenty of space for leisurly lounging and had plenty of room in the kitchen for cooking. The only draw back is the parking situation you can only have two cars which is hard when guests are arriving at different times. After calling the prop mgmt company they informed that there is parking across the street at the skate park. Which is basically steps away from the property.

We are already planning our next trip back and hoping that this house will be availabe.

This vacation was outstanding!! From the time we pulled up in the driveway, we were blown away by the property. Upon entering the home, the two things that jumped out to us was the spaciousness and cleanliness of the home. This was super important given the times we are currently living in. Love, love, love this property!! Definitely will book with Real Escapes again!

We had a great stay in this gorgeous, incredibly clean home. Brooke with Real Escapes was very helpful and kind during check in, which was very easy. The house was in a great location. It was a breeze to get to the beach, nearby restaurants and the village. There were a few glitches (internet & TV were out for two days and a few other minor items) but the property management company did address it. The house was perfect for our group of eight. We would without a doubt stay here again.

This was our second time staying at this beautiful home! The interior is immaculate and spacious! The pool / outdoor area was not as well maintained the second time we visited, but that was not an issue. We rented a golf cart this time, which we highly recommend for quick access to the beach and restaurants!

We had a great time in this home. The place was clean, kept up, and fit our whole crew (10 people). the kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and appliances (yes it has a blender). The beds were a little firmer than we were used to but not so bad we couldn't sleep. The pool was on the smaller side but totally fine for hanging and swimming after a day at the beach.

The only issue we had while there was the upstairs queen bedroom fan wouldn't work without the light on (and it wouldn't adjust speeds). I called the management office to come fix and they said they'd come take care of it. That night when I was putting the kids to bed I realized they never did. At that point it was too late and the weekend had begun so their office wasn't open anymore. We made do but it would have been nice for that to have been taken care of.

Another weird thing that happened was one day when we were at the beach someone put the hose in the pool and left it running. None of us had been outside since the night before and never touched the hose. The pool was almost overflowing when we caught it. We did message the management to let them know but they never responded. No big deal, it was just a weird thing that happened. We thought someone maybe came to service the pool but then forgot to turn off the hose? Not really sure.

Outside of those two things we really enjoyed our stay at this home. Two families of 5 fit comfortably here and were able to enjoy the amenities and close beach access. We had too much beach gear to walk but the drive was a quick 5 minute drive from the house. If it wasn't COVID time we would have also enjoyed the cute shops and restaurants nearby. Would recommend this home to others. Thank you!

This home is exceptionally beautiful. It is large with all amenities imaginable. The kitchen has everything. Even the laundry room was magnificent. The pool was perfect and the location was great. This place is super clean and very large. We only used the first floor, didn't even need the second floor. Loved Loved Loved our stay here. Would go back in a minute!!!!! Check in was smooth and the property management office personnel are wonderful and kind and sweet.

I would describe our stay as bittersweet. The house was beautiful and spacious - just what we needed for 8 guests. The trip to the beach was fine with the golf cart. The owner had plenty of supplies on hand for our use in the kitchen and bathrooms.
That said, there were only two parking spaces with no explanation on how to handle other vehicles for an expensive rental that sleeps 12.
The residents behind the house sent pictures to the leasing office and called repeatedly about how we were blocking the drive. This was inaccurate. The office left rude voice mails based on the feedback they had been given by the nasty neighbor, again which were not true. We had three cars parked (and running) for a few minutes to unload and load and never blocked the drive. I didn't appreciate the tone and inflammatory way this was handled, again at such an expensive property.
