Perfect place for a beach getaway! We've stayed here several times and love it. It's not fancy, but it is as advertised and meets our needs. About half a mile from the restaurants at Arnold Rd & Ocean Blvd and roughly 1.5mi from the village. Easy access to points north on St Simons, too. We'll stay again for sure!

The location is amazing and the property spacious. The kitchen sink faucet as lose. The tub in the master bedroom the stopper does not work. The furniture and the carpets could use some spot cleaning and shampooing. The swing and the deck off the dining room could use some tlc. Otherwise this is certainly a rental I would recommend.

I wouldn't stay here again. Bathrooms and carpeting need to be updated for starters. Master bath has missing shower door which has been replaced with a shower curtain that invades your space. Twin beds had no top sheets just a bed cover which doesn't get washed. Price seemed like a bargain but after staying there, I don't think many folks would feel that way.

Like other reviews mentioned, the rental could use a little renovation, but the cosmetic details don't impact the stay. Close to the beach and plenty of room. We had a great time at this rental

The unit is spacious and convenient. But, not only were there no working TVs in the bedrooms, there was only one working TVs in the entire unit. I wish I knew ahead of time there was only one TV.

Great space for our family located just a 5 minute walk from the beach. Check in and out was painless. The space was well divided—bedrooms on 1st and 3rd floors and the living room was big enough to have plenty of room for 6 adults.

This was a great location and we enjoyed being there. Loved the arrangment and the porches and close to the beach. The carpet is hard to keep clean, there are holes in the downstairs bath that could be the cause of mildew ordor.A little fresheing of the sofas would help too. We hope to return next year.

Every single bed was uncomfortable and felt unsafe. The kitchen table doesn’t hold enough seats per the amount of people that can stay there, no family dinners. Couch was gross and stain, it too was too small to accommodate everyone. Definitely mold upstairs, all 4 people who stayed up there got sick. Bathroom with tub upstairs felt like it was going to fall through at any moment, the huge water stain in kitchen below would confirm. All in all this place was dingy, outdated, and straight up gross. Would not put my family here ever again.

This home is big and spacious but the beds are not comfortable and the sofa is completely worn out. We found no where to sit in the evenings to watch TV that was comfortable. The walk to the beach isn’t too bad.

This house was perfect for our large group multifamily beach retreat. We loved it. They had all the beach needs, extra mattresses, dishes, sheets and everything we needed. The grill had not been dumped but we ended up not needing it. I rearranged the furniture while I was there but its easy to move back! The house needs a couple of things fixed but we didn't mind at all. Nothing major. Easy walk to the beach. 10/10 I will stay here again!

Great location and price for a 4 bedroom/ 3 1/2 bath unit! Plenty of room with a full stocked kitchen with new appliances. Furniture and decor are very dated and in need of updating. Great place if you are looking for a no frills, roomy place and don’t mind the decorations.

The location was great but the house needs a lot of TLC. There are just a lot of little things that needs fixing. The shower head is coming off wall, the bathroom door would no shut, and there was a huge water spot in the kitchen ceiling. Also the house did not have enough trash bags or toilet paper which it a little ridiculous.

This is a perfect place for a small family gathering. The condo is set up great for various folks to have a little privacy, while all sharing a wonderful common area. Steps from the beach, quick bike ride to restaurants, and less than a 4-minute drive to grocery stores and pharmacies. It's perfect

The location of this property is perfect. The 3 floor layout was exactly what we needed. The house needs a deep cleaning and the couch in the living room needs replaced or cleaned. A little TLC in this house would go a long way.

I rented this house for my family who was traveling from out of town for my wedding. Home is spacious and close to the beach. They really enjoyed their stay. Could use some updating. TV's and bathrooms.

Great location, loved that this particular unit was at the end!! Floor plan of home was great! We had our kids on the lower level, which worked out well considering they stay up later! Loved the fact that there was plenty of seating in the kitchen for family dinners- we cook a lot more when we bring our kids! We were the first to use the new stove!!! Worked great! I do think the owner should do some updating on this place. I feel like carpet looks awful and so it makes it feel dirty! Landscaping/backyard could be cleaned up- has SO much potential. Felt like kitchen was well stocked, however, you could just tell things were old and dated. Our bathroom, had the towel rack on wall missing and not fixed. So it was just small things like that, attention to detail. I did feel like the couch on both floors were dirty. Could be replaced. I honestly couldnt get myself to sit on them. Stained up pretty good. We did have the bathroom downstairs back up and overflowed, we had standing water down there! I had to call emergency line at 10:30pm at night. Julie, hands down was awesome! Came right over, with her own towels to see what was going on. Had people in line first thing next morning to get it all taken care of! Overall, great stay, love location and floor plan. Needs some love and attention to this property to make it 110%.

I love this house, I have been renting it for at least 6 years for three and 1/2 weeks at a time. I have been through change of ownership and actually know the neighbors. Over the years, during my stay the washer/dryer have been replaced and the refrigerator. It is NOW TIME FOR STOVE TO BE REPLACED. I do a lot of cooking during my stay, the top of stove only has one eye that works consistently and the oven has issues as welll, the heating element is partially burnt out. Stove needs replacing.

My family and I visited St. Simons for Labor Day weekend this year and this is where we stayed. Everything was perfect. We loved it!

Loved the area and small town feel. Restaurants were great. (Southern Soul was the best barbeque we ever had.)The house had lots of room. We did have an infestation of mosquitos, some bugs & think if the landscaping were taken care of a little better and having it spraying for insects may help. (Grass cut, shrubbery cut, back porch cleaned) Stove broke, but maintenace came quickly and fixed it. Gas grill would be nice to have instead of the charcoal. Plasticware for smaller children instead of all glassware. Loved the location, the space, the parking was fabulous and the furniture was very comfortable. Thank you for such a pleasant group of people to rent from in the office at Real Escapes. They were so easy to work with, love the laid back feel, and all the personel were very nice. I want to rent from them from now on. Thank you so much!

The house was in pretty good condition and the walk to the beach was not bad at all. Nice floor plan and the porches were great. The kitchen was a little small and the stove didn't work. There are only two regular burners. When we called about it, we were told someone had to come over a "trouble shoot" it before they would contact a repair person. We managed to wiggle it around and get it working but the stove should really be replaced. The rental agency was very nice and easy to work with. This unit has extra parking because it's on the end. Lots of traffic on that street as there are only a few ways to get back to Wood Ave. Overall very nice. We enjoyed our stay.

I have been staying at this house for three weeks every year for the past seven years. Real estate properties has always helped me anytime Ive called and needed something Jan especially has always been a great help . I will say in the seven years Ive been coming nothing much has changed in the house the furniture is all the same no updates have been made . The house is always clean and appreciate that . I do feel like however its time for an upgrade maybe a new couch ?

It was a lovely property however we had two people with knee issues. I didn't realize that the main living area was on second floor. We made it work! Kitchen area was nice. The outside patio off the main area was perfect for our morning coffee! Living area only had an L shape sofa and 1 Adirondack chair. Could have used another comfy side chair.

The condo was inviting, clean and charming. Loved all the balconies, close to the beach and everything. Delightful!

We had a great time at this home. It was a short walk to the beach and was nice and roomy. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds were comfortable and the lcommon areas were great.

I had a great time in this house. Certainly very spacious. The outdoor spaces could use some cleaning. They were a little musty and dusty. But after taking a day to clean that, I really enjoyed the house! Quiet and close to the beach!

Two bedrooms on first floor, 2 on 3rd floor. The location is perfect; only five minute walk to the beach so hopping out of bed and enjoying a sunrise each day is a pleasure. The screened in porch on the second floor is great, as is the large deck.

The unit is very dated but adequate. It's a beach house and does not insist on perfect housekeeping. Carpets, upholtered furniture and heavy bedspreads sould be deep cleaned or replaced. Arrangement and quality of furniture in the living room could be more accommodating. Bedroom TV's should be upgraded. Stove in kitchen definitely needs to be replaced. A house that sleeps 8 people needs a good working cooktop and only 2 burners are working adequately. Otherwise the kitchen is well appointed. Screens on a few more windows would be nice when air conditioning is unnecessary. Zoned heating works well. Privacy shades or curtains in the bedrooms would be appreciated.

This property was perfect for our group. There were 5 of us on different schedules. We had plenty of room and the the location was perfect.

Rental was very clean was exactly as stated on their website only 2 or 3 minute walk to beach,nice deck,plenty of room and very easy access to everything

Great location and lay out for multiple families. I feel like the owner needs to reduce the number of dishes in the cabinets so that there is more room to store food and such but that's a minor issue. The internet was out about half of our time there, which was a much larger issue. I understand that the problem is Comcast but it might be time to change providers, if possible.
On the positive side, there were tons of towels and such, which was fabulous. I also love having a washer / dryer, particularly at the beach.

It was a wonderful experience. The management staff was particularly attentive to our needs, and friendly.

We had several families that came down and we rented 2 homes. The families who stayed in this home were so astounded by how nice it was. We liked it so much we have already reserved for next year.

the property behind this unit is rented to spring breakers in March. It can be quite noisy during this month.

It was very helpful to have a place for everything and everything in its place. We always knew where to return items. The owners left beach equipment, kitchen staples (oil, salt, sugar, etc.), books, toys, and so much more. It was a unique and lovely experience. We look forward to returning.

We had a great time and the extras the condo had (a few beach towels, chairs and cart to take to the beach) were so very helpful! We did find a few roaches in the kitchen, but we know that is to be expected at the beach. We hope to return soon!

The was the best kept up property and cleanest we have stayed in on the Island. We have used Real Escapes three times with very good success. It is a good company and we are confident that our stay and reservation will always be top notch.

Upon arriving we found the carpets in need of cleaning. There were spots on the 3rd floor carpets , stairs and on the blue carpet downstairs, very noticeable. Other than the carpets, the place was spotless. Noise levels from the condo behind were unbearable in March-they were students who played in the frisbee tournaments. This prompted us to call the police 3 different times after being awakened out of sleep in the middle of the the month of February it was quiet and peaceful and relaxing. Overall, the condo was very good, sunny and airy and had everything we needed in the kitchen for cooking.May want to get a new mattress in the upstairs master bedroom,it sinks in the middle. Real Escapes staff was most helpful in solving all of the issues we had. They are a great company to work with and rent through..
