Magnolia Cottage has just completed a major transformation! This cottage has been completely updated and redecorated with brand new furniture (including beds and mattresses), linens, housewares and décor!
Magnolia Cottage is one of the most sought-after vacation rental homes on St. Simons Island. The Coast Cottages community is a neo-traditional planned community on St. Simons' widest stretch of sand. Many consider it the most exquisite real estate anywhere in Georgia. You'll find charming southern architecture with lush natural landscaping and brick-paved lanes.
A short stroll from any of the cottages leads to a spectacular oceanside pavilion and pool facility unrivaled along the St. Simons Island shoreline.
Real Escapes Properties is proud to offer this 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom Coast Cottage. The first level offers a king bed room with television and en-suite bath with a tub/shower combination. The second bedroom features a twin bed with trundle and a set of twin bunk beds. There is also a tv in this room for streaming. The owners have added a desk along with computer monitors for your use. The en-suite has a walk-in shower. Enjoy the front porch with plenty of seating.
The second level offers a king master suite with private, full bathroom with a separate garden tub and a walk-in shower. The living room, dining room and kitchen combination share the rest of this floor. Plenty of room for the family! Enjoy the balcony with views of the marsh. Guests will surely enjoy having their morning coffee or afternoon cocktail on either porch!
Plenty of amenities to enjoy including the beachside pool, pavilion, and private boardwalk to the beach. Enjoy biking, swimming, kayaking, shopping, or dining at one of St. Simons' fabulous restaurants.
The south pool is heated automatically by the HOA Thanksgiving week, Christmas week, and from March 15 to April 15 for spring break.

Sorry, no pets are allowed in this unit.
Group gatherings and events at this property are limited to the number of occupants (8 persons).
Parking is available for two vehicles in front of the cottage. We'll provide you with the parking passes.
Walk to the beach! This cottage is located approximately 2 miles from the Pier and Village area.
Minimum Age to Rent is 25 years old - this applies to all guests with the exception of multi-generational families.
What to Expect in your Unit:
There are 4 TVs in this unit.
Linens (Bath towels and bed sheets) are provided along with a starter Supply of Toilet Paper, Soap, Paper Towel and Trash Bag. Any additional supplies needed during tenancy will be the responsibility of the guest.

We found the office staff polite and knowledgeable, easy to deal with. The house was lovely, tastefully decorated, clean and kitchen well furnished. We brought a couple of babies under one-year and found plenty of room for their cribs to set up. The neighborhood was lovely, quiet, neat and provided easy access to the beach. The beach was clean and not too crowded. Our family had an excellent experience; nothing was lacking. Thank you.

The rental property at Magnolia Cottage was exactly how it was described on the website. The cottage met all our needs and was very spacious. The property was very clean and it had a nice beach decor. We loved the high ceilings and the outdoor patios. We enjoyed our stay there over spring break and it was only a short walk to a nice community pool and private beach access. The house had all the required amenities including beach towels.

The house was exactly as pictured/described, and we had a great time. The house comes with a cart and some beach gear which is helpful and the beach is only a short walk down the main drive to the 2 pools, which were not crowded at all during our stay!

We had a lovely stay at Magnolia Cottage. The house is wonderfully decorated and maintained. The location is ideal with access to the community pool and a private boardwalk to the beach. The balconies look out onto a marsh, where we watched the birds every morning. Highly recommend the Magnolia Cottage for your stay in St. Simons.

My family of 6 could not have had a better vacation in the Magnolia Cottage; it was absolutely gorgeous and had every amenity we needed. The beach was so close, as was the pool. Magnolia is so close to the quaint village.We rented a 6 seater got of cart and never drove our car. It was a perfect trip for everyone!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 6 night stay at Magnolia Cottage. The home has recently been updated and it was spotless. We enjoy staying in Coast Cottage homes due to their proximity to the pools and the beach. We have visited SSI numerous times over the past 30 years. We have booked our last 2 SSI rentals through Real Escape Properties. We have found Real Escape Properties to be very professional and detailed oriented. We would certainly rent Magnolia Cottage again in the future.

We were so appreciative of how well the house was stocked! We had enough toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dish & laundry detergent--items that rentals often under-provide. The area is also great. The house is located very conveniently to the beach, pool & restaurants. We also appreciated having nice wine glasses!

We had a wonderful time on Saint Simons Island and Magnolia Cottage was a great home away from home. The cottage is newly updated with all the amenities a family will need. There were even sand toys, chairs, and beach games etc. in the storage area. We spent a week with three children and we all had a blast. The location is amazing. Biking distance to the town with great shops and restaurants and walking distance to the pool and East Beach. Thank you so much!

6 of us stayed here for a friend's wedding and this could not have been a more perfect fit. We all raved that there were enough towels, blankets and hairdryers for all of us, as well as easy access to town and the wedding location. It was very clean, not a trace of sand anywhere! You would never know you're right by the beach. The management company was extremely clear in their process, and I would recommend this as a sure bet to anyone in town for weddings/bachelorettes. Thank you!
