Real Escapes Properties is pleased to offer this unique pedestal home located at Cedarwalk in Sea Palms. This stand alone two bedroom, two bathroom condo provides beautiful marsh views from multiple decks and sits at the end of a quiet, tree lined cul-de-sac. There are stairs to the main level. There is no elevator.
The upstairs loft has a lovely sitting are that holds a sleeper sofa. The living room is quaint and furnished with a writing desk. The home is equipped with two flat screen televisions and wireless internet.
This one-of-a-kind condo is located in Sea Palms Resort area and close to the Shoppes at Sea Island, Island Cinema and Brogen's North and tons of other specialty shops, restaurants and activities.

• Any group gatherings and events at this property are limited to the number of occupants (6 persons).
• Sorry, no pets are allowed in this unit.
• Parking is available for 1 vehicle.
• Approximately 5.6 miles to Coast Guard Station Public Beach Access and 5.9 miles to Pier Village
Minimum age to rent is 25. This applies to all guests with the exception of multi-generational families.

• Starter Supply of Toilet Paper, Soap, Paper Towels and Trash Bags. Any additional supplies needed during tenancy will be the responsibility of the guest.

The location and size were perfect for what I had planned for this trip. The price point was also appreciated. The carpet in this unit could really use some love. The bathrooms and bed linens could also be updated. The A/C worked great. kitchen is well done for two guests. Couch is super comfy.

This property is in need of renovation
. The blinds are damaged and hard to operate. The windows have cracked seals and the loft screen sliding door is damaged beyond repair. The double bed mattress in the front bedroom should be replaced. There are not enough matching plates to serve 6 people and the cutlery has NO spoons and only 5 forks. Glasses are mismatched. The living room furnishings are adequate and attractive.

We were in town for a wedding. We really enjoyed the place. 10 minute drive to the public beach and 13 minutes to bars and restaurants. Really enjoyed the multiple outside porches.

Two friends and I traveled to St Simmons on Thursday to attend an event in Sea Island on Friday. The vacation home we rented was clean, well equipped, comfortable and in a perfect location for dinning and out jaunt to Sea Island. The check-in-out process was seamless. the office staff were gracious and helpful. Perfect

We loved the home for the price point and found it to be "best value" for the area. One dedicated parking spot. Two spots in cut-de-sac for all homes on the road. We had to park one vehicle near and the second vehicle up the road for a nice walk in.
Torn Between the Two

We love St Simon’s area and usually come around 4 times per year. I titled my review “Torn Between the Two” because I’m torn between staying at this property again or not staying. We loved the views and the area and are also hesitant with this unit as there are multiple things needing to be attended to. For instance, the front door does not lock the top lock properly and the sliding glass door off kitchen doesn’t meet up with locking mechanism, so you can’t lock the door at all. The decking railing is coming apart with rusted nails showing. The screen door is full of tears and needs to be removed or replaced. Also, the sliding doors need replacing and carpet also. Also, decking furniture needs to be cleaned before each visit & placed on all balconies. It could be such a beautiful escape if these were addressed. The property manager was very nice and empathetic and hopefully, the owner of the unit will get these issues fixed before we opt to stay at this unit again.

Location was great and convenient. Property is dated-fixing the doors that are off track, the broken blinds, replacing carpet and a fresh coat of paint would go a long way. In addition, the towels were tattered and faded. The area was very quiet and views were beautiful, but very limited to no furniture on the 3 porches.
Vacation in the time of cholera

Not bad, but it was during the coronavirus pandemic, so there was a lot of stuff you couldn't do. The property was in a nice locale. Unfortunately, the deck furniture was old and rusted out too much to use. Kitchen was well-appointed, except no coffee. Beds were okay, but not great.

Our condo was absolutely perfect for our needs. Plenty of space and all the amenities we needed. Everything was clean and in working order. A great place to "come home to" each day. Just a few minutes from shops and beaches. We would definitely stay here again!

We love the place, the intimacy, the good neighbourhood! The house should be upgraded in quality for some furniture and appliances.
As always, RealEscapes provided us with an stress-free, peaceful holiday experience. There were two large bedrooms at opposite ends of the house, with en-suites, so everyone had the privacy we wanted. The kitchen was well-appointed and the washer/dryer came in very handy. We loved the living space, and being able to choose among three separate balconies was a real treat.
We did learn two very important things, however. 1) as beautiful as the marsh is (and the sunsets were spectacular), I did miss being beachfront, as my previous vacations with RealEscapes were. It’s a short drive to any of the beaches, however, so that was soon remedied. We wanted to try something different, and I don’t for a moment regret our marshside stay, but it was interesting to discover how much watching the waves mattered to me. 2) My husband and I are no longer young and/or fit enough for the stairs up to this property. This is not a complaint at ALL; the fact that there is no elevator was stated very clearly in the listing, and we knew what we were getting. I am acknowledging that we are no longer able to manage the stairs without a lot of discomfort. If, however, you are young and/or fit, this is a lovely property where you can be cozy when you want to, but still have privacy when that’s required, too. If my legs (and the rest of me) were stronger, I’d be booking here again. As it happens, next time I book with RealEscapes (and there will be a next time, as they’re wonderful), I’ll be on the ground floor or near an elevator at a property these old bones can handle.
