We appreciated the comfortable, well-furnished unit and the pool access to the beach.

Our condo was clean, well-furnished, and comfortable. We also enjoyed the proximity to the historic sites, restaurants, and shops of St. Simons Island.

I definitely enjoyed my stay here and I wish I would’ve reserved more days! The host was amazing! Gave plenty of recommendations for restaurants and things to do. Also, was quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had. This unit was quiet, spacious, very clean, had beautiful views from the balcony, and had plenty of kitchen amenities available for when I cooked. I was happy that this area was a short walk to the beach, which was a plus! This is definitely a place I would stay at again!

Good experience

We had a great time at St. Simon Island. The only thing I would change about the condo is the shower head in the main bedroom shower.

This condo was super cute and in a great location on the first floor. The beds were comfy, the view was great, and the space was clean. A few issues- the place needed cleaned just a little bit more. I had to clean under the coffee maker and the dishwasher wasn't emptied before our stay, which seems minor, but is a small attention to detail.
In addition, the WiFi in this unit was TERRIBLE. Other condos have had their own WiFi and this one was advertised as such AND had log in info posted around the condo to WiFi that didn't exist. When I went to the Beach Club office, they were not very helpful and tried to tell me that my computer/phone was 'searching' for other connections, which was just not true. I would stay at Beach Club again, as this was our 2nd year here and 5th at St. Simons, but I would want better WiFi and just a little cleaner at the start. Real Escapes is great and my review is more for the condo itself and not the company. I think it was Beach Club that fell a little flat.

Do not stay here unless you like 74 degree temp. We would set it cooler so when we would come back at night it would be cool. Noooo the owners have it set so it goes back to 74. In south GA 74 does not work. Also do not go barefooted, your feet will turn black, due to uncleanliness.

The room was well maintained and convenient to the beach and food. A very nice secluded area with direct beach access. Parking can be a little tight, but the view from the balcony makes you forget that.

Only issue was Wifi not being useable. I was here for work, and this caused me some minor problems. Using the "business center" was not an option as our computers are restricted via VPN.

We had a nice trip - in spite of our condo. Be prepared to walk about a half-mile to the water from your room. While you have a nice view of the courtyard and the water (way off in the distance) you're not really ON the water. It's a hike across the hot sand to get to the ocean. The pool is nice and we got smart after our first day and just decided to stay at the pool rather than trek to the ocean in the heat.

The condo was adequate, however, it left a lot to be desired in terms of cleanliness and equipment. There were absolutely NO dish towels or dishcloths. How are you supposed to wash dishes (or your hands) Good thing we brought a few with us. Minimal towels in the bathroom meant washing laundry mid-trip. The floors were sticky and our feet would be black at night even after our showers. The beds had no pillowcases and the blankets for the sofa bed had a funky smell. The secondary bedroom had a plethora of "stuff" under the bed, including old food and junk. It's obvious the cleaning of the unit between tenants is not the most detailed. The washer had mold around the opening. The fridge and freezer smelled of fish.

The master shower water is reversed (hot is cold, and it took a while for us to figure it out - after a few cold showers)

And the most annoying part was the fact that the AC kept resetting itself to 80 degrees. Ok, it's June in South Georgia - and I paid a hefty sum to stay here. I should be able to pick the temperature of the condo while I'm staying here!

It is obvious the owners are more interested in pinching pennies and cutting corners than they are in providing a nice vacation unit for their guests.

We had a nice family trip and did not let the condo spoil our trip, but we will most definitely not be back there again.

This unit photographs well, but what you can NOT see are the bathrooms with NO exhaust fans! Just imagine that. Who in the world would omit exhaust fans at a beach condo. In addition, the draperies pictures have NO back out curtains. Unless you enjoy rising at the literal crack of dawn, be sure to ask if your future units have black out curtains. In addition, the hall bath shower curtain rod barely holds up the curtain. Very disappointing.
We love the Beach Club and have never had these annoyances with any other stay. Although we booked through Hodnett Cooper for our other stays, we expected the same level of oversight , but did not get it .

Picking up the key and welcome packet was very easy; everything was ready to go. Condo was clean and well maintained; couldn't ask for more. Have been to this condo complex many times and have always had a wonderful experience.

We loved this gem of a hideaway! My husband and I walked the beach,walked beautiful, quiet neighborhood and enjoyed the water views! We especially liked that the sidewalk will take you clear to the pier! The pier has lovely shops and delicious restaurants to choose from! Our condo was as stated and we had everything we needed and felt as if we were home but with a much better view! Will definitely return! Thank you for sharing it with us!

We stayed at Beach Club 119. The view was great but the condo had not been cleaned very well Every time we walked across the tile floors our feet turned black. The floor under the master bed had not been cleaned at all Toaster oven was smoking Wine opener was broken No veggie peeler

too cold, fought the auto programmed thermostat for the entire stay. the large iron tablede and chairs are very uncomfortable, not user-friendly. unit is too cluttered. shan helped us several times. she is a gem

Great view. Convenient location.

What a beautiful city and resort. The Beach Club gave us the space and privacy we wanted. With my Granddaughter, Daughter and Boyfriend in toe, we swam in the pool and ocean, bbqd and played our favorite games: volleyball, washers and beach golf. Oh yeah, a side trip to Savannah and Jekyl Island were great day excursions. Great Sun, amenities, nice people and our great friends made for a terrific week!

We had a beautiful week on Saint Simons Island! It was Easter week and things were a bit more crowded than usual but we were still able to get reservations at Delaneys and Nazarros, two of our favorite restaurants. Also enjoyed lunch at Barbara Jeans and the Sandcastle. Played golf at Sea Palms and spent several days at the beach. Beach Club is a great place to stay!

Spent 6 weeks at the Beach Club from Mar 1 - mid April 2017. This was first time in this unit facing the courtyard. View lovely and noise minimal. Unit comfortable for the 2 of us, but would be less so for 4 or more. Some of the furniture needs to be updated for comfort - sofa and outdoor patio furniture. The Beach Club facilities - hot tubs x 2, gym, tennis court etc added bonus

Clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Good location just steps from the beach.

The Beach Club is an older property but is on a great part of the beach and the property is well maintained and the people who service the property are very friendly. Our particular unit was in desperate need of updating. While the kitchen was well stocked, the beds and furniture are outdated and not the most comfortable. The unit was not very clean upon arrival. We would definitely work with Real Escapes again, as they were fantastic, and we would stay at another unit at the Beach Club but not in this unit.

Loved staying at the beach club. This unit has an absolutely beautiful view. We have vacationed in St Simons for 13 yrs. Real Escapes is by far the best rental co. we have found. Their attention to detail and service is excellent!!!

The condo was a great location my family. Since we have a 3 year old and 4 month old twins, we needed a place with direct pool and beach access to avoid multiple trips in the van. My sister also came to visit from Jacksonsville, FL. My toddler loved the kiddie pool and it was never too crowded. The condo itself had pretty much everything we needed to cook meals and save money there. The living area was a little smaller than I imagined but work well enough. Since it was a holiday weekend, we had some issues trying contact help for minor questions. The condo phones did not work, despite the phone information listed. Also, the front door lock should probably be changed as it's kind of tricky to use.

Fantastic location on the beach on St. Simon's Island. Clean condo, 2 bedrooms, sufficient kitchen and bathrooms, as described. I would rent there again for my family of 4. We have 2 young children, 2 and 5 years old.

The condo was nice but, it needs some updating.. kitchen ware, tv and some linens were missing.

Our kids and grandkids have been coming to the island and staying at the Beach Club for many years. This condo was the best so far! They enjoyed the view of the courtyard and the location was very convenient.We have already reserved for next year!

We stayed in beach club condo 119 over Memorial Day weekend. The condo is on the east beach, within easy biking distance to the pier. The beach club is fantastic and didn't seem crowded even for the holiday. It's beautifully landscaped, the pool is wonderful with plenty of chairs and there is direct beach access from the pool area. Beach access is monitored so there is no riff raff getting into the beach club. The beach is wonderful and great for a long hike. It feels like a resort. The condo had everything we needed and well suited to a family of 4. We are planning another trip in the future!

We had a very nice time while we were at the Beach Club. There were a couple of issues with some maintenance at the condo but the folks sent someone over on Monday and she fixed everything. We love the privacy of Beach Club and the gated entrance.

The Beach Club in October is the best kept secret around. Perfect weather, a beautiful condo , lush landscape, and gorgeous ocean make for a great getaway.

we have been to the beach club 7 out of the last 8 years for our yearly vacation and really enjoy it every time. this unit was great - a little further from the beach, but still a great view and can see the water from the couch! the owner of the unit jerry was super to work with - literally called him the day before we left to ask about some of the furnishings to better pack and he picked up and was knowledgable and very helpful. management company real escapes was also easy to work with and had everything ready to go for us upon arrival.

Our family of 4 had not been on a big family vacation in 10 years!! This experience was one our kids will ALWAYS remember. We all had a GREAT time. The condo was clean, comfortable and accommodating. The access to the pool and beach was great! We couldn't have asked for more. The property mgmt. made the whole process so easy from inquiry to check out. They were very friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend this to a friend. We plan to do this again too!

Nice Condo, pretty courtyard, close to everything.

While the location was very good and the beach club was well maintained, the condo itself left a lot to be desired. There was a strange smell that persisted the entire time. The owner needs to put a little money in to upgrade the furnishings. None of it matched and it was uncomfortable. The TV in the living room was a relic from the 1990's and did not work properly. There was even a used accounting textbook displayed in the pile of books to browse. Very classy. In short, for the money spent we expected more from the place.

Couple smallcomments:
(1) Single beds in the second bedroom were reported as somewhat uncomfortable. My own kingsized bed was great.
(2) The TV arrangement in the living room was a little outdated -- the tv was the old heavy tube version and there was no way to play blu-ray disks.

Could not have asked for more. Condo was lovely, clean and provided us with everything. The location in the complex as well as the island was perfect. Beach was right there. Will definitely come again.

A great vacation!

I've just gotten back from the perfect vacation. Our condo was everything that I had hoped and expected that it would be. Our view was beautiful. The property was well maintained and beautifully landscaped. The condo was clean, furnished very nicely, convenient to everything, quiet, and generally perfect. The realty company was friendly and very accommodating. I'm already planning was next trip back to Saint Simons and hope to stay here again!

We enjoyed our 2week stay. The property was very clean, had most of the amenities we wanted. Nice balcony, it was great to watch the birds in the morning. The pool was lovely, and the parking under the building was very convenient. 2 small issues...the wifi was very slow(yes, we do not go to the Golden Isles to be online, but it is mid October!), and a comfortable armchair would have been nice.

We had a pleasant week at St. Simons. The property was exactly as described, clean, well maintained and provided excellent beach access. Our only issues with the condo were that it was a little cramped, the furniture was not that comfortable for lounging, and the fact that it was tiled floor throughout meant a constant battle sweeping up sand and cleaning off your feet. Although not the fault of the property, we found the beach at SSI to be less than optimal; it is not very conducive to long walks and shell hunting, and the wave action is minimal except at high tide. Good restaurants, though, and we enjoyed the Village area.

My sister and I had a great time at Beach Club. The grounds were beautiful!! Everything was well maintained and easy access. Our condo was by the elevator so did get some window noise by my bed. Ear plugs help! The condo was clean but the AC was a issue. Never did get it just right. It was always to warm for us at night. Otherwise, we would use Beach Club again. Love the location.

Real Escapes were very helpful in choosing the area in which to stay. The owner of the Condo was great in explaining the sights and town. The Condo was clean, very nice and in the best location, just like he said. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again!
