My sisters and I had a great time on our "sister trip" to St. Simon's Island! The room, location, and weather were perfect for us.

Please please please replace that nasty carpet! If you do not want to buy a new living room chair, at least throw out that broken down one before someone gets hurt in this unit! The unit had food in the carpet in master, their was personal items from previous renter left everywhere and food was left in fridge.

Very clean, great location, and affordable

Screen door was broken and unusable. Sliding door wouldn’t lock. Very dated and in need of repairs.

Location was convenient for walking to restaurants and the beach.

We love staying at Beach Club! This kitchen in this unit seemed updated and appliances seemed new. The beds were comfortable. You can see the ocean from the deck and also from the master bedroom--we loved that!!!! This unit could be improved by replacing the carpet and adding some ceiling fans--especially in the master bedroom. Overall, we would recommend the unit.

The complex is very nice, in a great area, and the unit was clean, but the unit could use quite a few updates.
The property management was very helpful.

Easy check-in and check-out; accommodations were close to the beach. We felt safe.

Pool area was clean and very well maintained.

We really enjoyed St Simons and the Beach Club Complex! The pool was awesome, the beach access was easy and the whole complex was very easy to navigate and provided a great spot for our many families members to gather and play.

This particular unit (208) needs an immediate upgrade. The carpet is very very very old and there is a distinct smell (mildew? mold? grime?) when you walk in this unit. I was very disappointed that Real Escape would put their stamp of approval on a unit that is this poorly maintained.

Unit was cleaned (to the best of cleaning team ability) but the accumulation of dirt and wear/tear is my reasoning for giving such low reviews.

Great pool, awesome beach spot! The grills and grassy area were fabulous for our family to gather and play.

We had an incredible week in St. Simons. The weather was perfect and the location of the condo was amazing.

Comfortable unit!

Perfect stay for our family of five. Everyone was so easy to deal with on the phone and questions were answered appropriately. Easy check-in process and everything was exactly as described in the listing. Our condo overlooked the North Breakers pool and had a decent view of the beach. The pool is fabulous and the walk to the beach was perfect for coming and going to the pool and back. Condo was a little outdated but everything was very clean. Only negative is that I’d suggest there be more cookware/utensils/Tupperware because if we were to stay the whole week, we cook in a good bit and it would’ve been difficult with the lack of cookware. Overall, awesome experience. Love the Beach Club and would book here again through the company.

Wonderful place to stay. Easy check in and check out. Just walking steps to the beach! Perfect for a small family to stay. Our little family loved it and hope to be back soon!

Beach Club is ideally located, nice amenities

Real Escapes Properties is always a pleasure to work with. My stay at the Beach Club in unit #208 was semi satisfactory. The accommodations are less than updated as they seem to be something from the ‘80’s. The carpet is old and worn, the furniture is something I would have expected to find at a garage sale, the televisions are big box TVs and do not have remotes, the dinnerware is slim to none and some cannot be used in the microwave, there was one trash bag, and two squirts of dish soap. For a two week rental, one would think the landlords could at least spring for those items. Not to mention the clock and remotes that were available did not have batteries. Overall, this condo needs some love and needs to be updated. Very disappointed in the feel of the condo. The location of the condo and amenities of Beach Club were great. I would stay at this complex again, but not in this condo unless it was updated.

Everything about the check-in, and drop off process was great. The most attractive thing is the low deposit. We have stayed at the Beach Club twice before, and love the accommodations. All was well except my Wife commented several times that the unit was dated. The bathroom and carpet were dated. Thank you. Tom

We thoroughly liked St. Simons Island, the beaches and the community. We were fortunate to enjoy superb weather almost the entire time we were there, including two and a half weeks (beginning in mid-February) of unseasonably warm temperatures. While the Beach Club is well situated northeast of the village the facility is older and lacks some amenities we prefer. Specifically, unless one has an end unit (only two on each floor) there is no direct, unobstructed view of the beach. Secondly, the WiFi is shared, insecure and slow. The staff at the Beach Club, however, was very helpful and friendly. We'd like to find another rental that does not have the two drawbacks mentioned.

St. Simon, the weather and the general area met all of our expectations. The unit was certainly of adequate size and comfortable. The facilities, particularly around the pool and the business center were great. Great Escapes was a delight to work with. The appliances in the kitchen had just been replaced, which was nice. The disappointments were as follows: (1) we prefer a unit that provides a full view of the beach, not peeking around the end of the balcony. (2) the community WiFi was unsecured, slow, and would not permit the use of either our Sonos music system nor the streaming of video; (3) why the owners did not replace the dreadful kitchen floor is a mystery if they were going to spend on all new appliances; and (4) the carpet, particularly in the living room, is in dire need of a major cleaning. The Staff at the Beach Club was friendly, helpful and responsive.

-The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed.

Cons about the condo:
-the pool in the picture off the balcony is not the complex's pool. This condo faces the outside of the horseshoe and the pool is on the inside of the horseshoe. We were disappointed bc we thought we could see our teenage boys at the pool while we ran up to make lunch.
-one of the twin bed frames squeaked so badly that my son (who does toss and turn a lot) had to put the mattress on the floor and ended up moving to the couch bed.

Pros about the complex:
The location is great.
It was super easy to get to and from the beach.

Cons about the complex:
-There was a very strange potent smell in the interior hallway of the condos all week. The best way to describe it was pickles and feet (not a good combo).
-The pool and hot tub were SO strong with chlorine that our teenage kids had rashes, red chapped looking skin and burning eyes (they swim all the time in vacation pools and have never complained like they did here). We did alert the front desk to test the chemical level in the pool and hot tub.

Location is everything for this property . The beach's unique width and its sand bars and lagoons make it very interesting to explore. Challenges during our 2 weeks included some chillier than usual weather and several condo items that needed repair. In general, we were pleased with the service regarding the repairs and the unit itself, which was quiet and basically comfortable. Small things could have enhanced our stay there, such as hooks for towels and robes, carrot scrapers and cheese graters, etc, all mentioned in my review handed in to Real Escapes upon departure. Bathroom tiles and leaking mirrors also show the age of the unit. New mattresses and much improved lighting are needed. I would like the hot tub's use limited to adults, as diapered tots in there was a huge turn off for me, and the racket of teens was not inviting either. (nor is it healthy for kids). The pool lacked shade, which could be remedied with some of the newer huge umbrellas set up on the lawn; otherwise, the pool area was nicely maintained. Also, no smoking on the property would be VERY good if possible.

Great time! Renting from Real Escapes is so easy. They are willing to please. Their properties are well maintained and the locations sre fabulous.

Cameron of Real Escapes was fantastic. The location was perfect and the complex was very nice. The unit itself was "on the surface clean" but overdue for a deep cleaning. 208 was outdated and a little tired. carpeting in a beach condo doesn't make much sense to me. Little details like no shower caddy, old cruddy showerheads and bath fixtures that need to be replaced can make a difference. The master bedroom bed was worn out. To their credit, when brought to the property management's attention, the owner authorized a new mattress, which I greatly appreciated. All in all a good stay but could have been better.

Beach Club room 208 was in a great location, very clean when we arrived,and had everything we needed. Real Escape Properties is a wonderful agency to deal with. Everyone on staff is super friendly,accommodating, efficient. This makes planning our vacation simple and hassle-free! Thank you!

2 bedroom, Beach Club condo

Overall we were very happy with our condo. It priced quite appropriately to its location, size, and condition. Condo has nice view to the beach, and is only about a mile from the village. We are already looking forward to our second vacation on St Simmon's!

The air conditioner would not cool the unit down. You need to look into it.

Management Company very easy to work with. Property maintence extremely responsive to minor problems. Living room furniture was definitely "used" but not unlike other rentals we have had. We enjoyed our stay very much and were very interested in the history of the area. Reading all of Eugenia Price's books now..

Great people, friendly island, best restaurants, perfect location. Unit needs mending.

Thought the overall could use some updating. When we arrived we had very few dishes - and no glasses. It took us a little while to realize that they were all in the dishwasher. Other than that the location was great - wished the pool could have been heated! :)
