Ocean Pearl

The house was perfect for our family gathering. There were 8 adults, 1 toddler, 1 newborn and two little dogs. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils. We grilled one night and did takeout the other. It was so nice we all decided we’d rather eat in instead of going out. Bedrooms were all a decent size and the beds were quite comfortable. We enjoyed a couple of cocktails around the dipping pool too.

Beautiful house, had all the necessities for our vacation with plenty of amenities.

Home is beautiful... location excellent... check in/out easy and helpful. All the comforts of home for 6 adults and 3 children... plus family dog!

We had a great stay, very close to public beach access and convenient to lots of places on the island. The giant bamboo around the house was rubbing on the house the first night and kept us up but other than that house was great.

We stayed in Ocean Pearl while visiting family in St. Simon's. The home is beautiful, comfortable, and well maintained. The location is perfect for dining and activities in the village area as well as convenient to other places on the island. One reason for booking this house was the fire pit outside near the dipping pool. We had hoped to spend evenings outside around the fire pit and were disappointed to find it was no longer there. The location is quiet even though it is in close proximity to the airport. Check-out was a breeze and the property management staff members were wonderful. We would definitely stay at Ocean Pearl in the future.

House is beautiful and held our extended family. Pool is very tiny. Parking is extremely tight even with small cars. Very convenient location but some noise from nearby airport.

We enjoyed our stay! The house was comfortable and convenient on a quiet street. Street can be easy to miss! Several restaurants are close by. Our favorite was Barrier Island brewing, the food was the best we had on the island! Pool is teeny, but the girls loved it! The air conditioning was amazing especially in the July heat! East beach is huge, but you can find better spots closer to the house and away from the crowds. We did a day trip to Jekyll, it was worth it!

This is an annual trip for our family and this is the best property we have stayed in so far. We will be back :)

You’ve heard the saying girls just want to have fun and that’s exactly what we did on SSI in this lovely home! Very spacious, clean and comfortable! The outdoor space surrounding dipping pool was just right for our party of 9 and where we spent our time sipping cocktails and listening to beach tunes. Yummy restaurants, great beach access and the village are a short ride and very accessible on our golf cart! Julie, our vacation planner, is so friendly and accommodating! We recommend Real Escapes Properties and this home very much! Of course, we’ve already booked our vacation for 2023!!!

We fell in love with this house as we pulled in to park. Check-in was simple (picked up check-in materials from management office lock-box as we arrived after office closing), house is amazingly appointed and SPOTLESS, pool is bigger than it looks in the pictures (could easily accommodate 5 to 6 adults), large tv's in every bedroom, and there were plenty of starter supplies on hand (toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, etc). Could not have asked for a better rental home to enjoy our St. Simon's Island vacation. Cannot think of one thing that should have been improved on. Great company with superb communication as I had questions along the way, and GREAT home on a beautiful cul-de-sac with every upgraded amenity possible. Market lighting and gas firepit table on the pool deck was amazing for setting a vacation vibe. Loved the primary bedroom with bathroom, plus 1/2 bath, downstairs and other three bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs. Gave us and the grown kids some separation. They loved the house, we loved the house, we'll all be back!

We are a group of 5 friends who got together for several nights to celebrate a birthday. We live an hour and a half away. The property was lovely and comfortable being well stocked with anything that we might need. The management company could not have been more helpful or easier to deal with. They are friendly and very professional. Everything in the house was fresh and new and it was spotlessly clean. We look forward to returning soon and have told friends of our getaway find.

We were here for a month and wish we could have stayed longer! Kitchen was well stocked with utensils. House is well decorated and very clean! This was the warm weather retreat we were looking for.

We visited St Simmons during Spring Break with our family. Ocean Pearl was everything we thought it would be and more! The beauty that welcomes you when arriving continues to all of the thoughtful touches inside. The stunning kitchen adorned with a farm table perfect for our entire family to enjoy meals around is where we all gathered to cook, chat and put together puzzles! My son enjoyed taking a dip in the pool while my daughter worked on her tan. Ocean Pearl is only a short walk from several great restaurants and a bike ride away from the downtown area. The washer and dryer were a plus for helping to clean up and prepare to travel back to Virginia. I cannot say enough great things about this beautiful “Pearl” in St Simmons. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ocean Pearl and will be back for sure!
