We stayed for a weekend. The house is clean and beautifully decorated! And the location is nice just a short walk to the beach.

Great place to stay! Highly recommend!

This house is close to the Coast Guard Station beach access, clean, well stocked, nice layout, linens, and furniture. There were 4 beach chairs, a wagon to transport stuff to beach, and several beach towels. My favorite part of the house was the screened porch with a marsh view.

The Landfall Cottage couldn’t have been better. It was clean, had plenty of space, was updated throughout, had a very well-stocked kitchen, wonderful screened-in porch for morning coffee or an outside dinner, and was just a short walk to the beach. It was also only about a mile to the local restaurants and shops. The management company was second to none, in regards to customer service. We would definitely recommend! (One note to the management co. - the grill could not be used, as it was very dirty and not all the burners were working; and the master bedroom sheets were too small).

We stayed at landfall cottage for thanksgiving and thoroughly enjoyed the well stocked kitchen. The walk to the beach is easy and the house has been well decorated. The beds are comfortable yet the fitted sheet did not stay fitted. Also could use a squeegee in master bath shower. The house overall is a great cottage!

Management was great. Home was updated, open, clean and comfortable. Location is as great - very close to beach and nice views of the marsh. Kitchen was well stocked with nice coffee bar. Internet worked perfectly as I did work some daily. Screen porch and fire pit area was a plus and nice for the couple of cool nights we had. We travel a lot and would rank this place a 9 of 10. Cons: need better TVs in bedrooms.

Great stay at Landfall Cottage. The house is well appointed and updated. Would definitely stay again! Our family had a wonderful time. Would recommend the house get a recycle bin, when we arrived the trash was wildly overfilled and had to smell it for the first three days of vacation. Could be prevented if the house had a recycle bin.

This house was just perfect for all of us!!!! Loved all the games for us to play and it has a great lay-out.

Overall, I would have loved this house. However, the internet/wifi which controls the TV as well is awful. We had several adults who planned to work while staying the week, but the internet and wifi were consistently out. Unable to watch any TV or work with wifi for pretty much the whole week. No US Open, no Netflix etc. and having to utilize individual hot spots. Definitely not worth the weekly rental rate if you cannot get reliable wifi/internet.

Wonderful, wonderful home!!! Can't wait to come back and stay for a longer period of time. Peaceful, accommodating, and the beds are super comfy!!! Perfectly appointed home, had everything we needed and was accessible to the beach, Village, etc... Tesla charger was an even bigger bonus!

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay here. Location was better than we expected. Very close to east beach. House was very inviting, which made our time there very relaxing. We definitely will stay here again.

I can't say enough about this rental property. It was perfect in every way. The house was very clean and very well appointed. The owners thought of everything. There were many added touches as well.

We loved this house so much that we came back again for our summer vacation! It is in a perfect location and was great for 2 families of 4. The only negatives was that this year the house seemed to have less bath towels so we spent a lot of time doing laundry. Also, the housekeeper arrived before our 10:00 checkout. I know it’s a very busy time of year and she probably had several properties to prepare for check-in, but it did make us feel unnecessarily rushed to leave. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will definitely consider booking again.

Incredible stay for my family of 6. Kitchen is the new family room and 1608 Ocean brings this to light. Bunk room was great for the kids. Block and half from beach. Having the outdoor shower with both hot and cold water was awesome for the kids to clean up before entering after all day at the beach.

This was the perfect beach house for 2 families (4 adults, 4 children). The house had a perfect layout and was such a quick walk/bike ride to the beach. We all loved it and have already booked our stay for next summer!

My family rented this cute house for a week at the beach. The walk to the beach was relatively short and the view of the marsh at sunset was great. The house was clean and the appliances where top of the line. We had the four grandchildren sleep in the bunk room, which worked out great. My daughter and her hubby had the master suit while my hubby and I had separate bedrooms due to snoring. The only down side, was having only two bathrooms for all of us, with six of us sharing the one bathroom on our side of the house. I have rented other houses from other companies on St. Simon, and I can tell you that Real Escapes is now my favorite to rent from. We rented bicycles from the shop 0.5 miles away, across from two awesome seafood restaurants....really great eating. It was a very enjoyable stay.

Obviously, this year was a strange one, based on the virus. The single family house felt "safe". The front screened porch allowed for a few "social-distancing" get togethers with friends. Being near the beach was important in the days of multiple walks.

This was the perfect vacation home with plenty of space for my family of 5. It was a great central location to beach, town, and restaurants. Quick 2 block walk to the beach. The decor is adorable and house was spotless. Would definitely recommend.

The four bedrooms allow for big families to stay comfortably. The two bunkbeds in one room were perfect for our 8-12 year old grandkids. We had an easy walk to the beach. Perfect!

I booked this house for a surprise birthday getaway for my boyfriend. Several friends met us there and we had such an incredible weekend thanks to Real Escapes. The house was beautiful and was perfect for friend groups or families. It was very clean. We could walk to the beach, and we were just a short trip to the shops and restaurants.
We travel a lot and I have to say, Real Escapes provided one of the best rental experiences we have ever had. They make things simple and are so incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I could not have asked for a better experience and we will definitely be back!

The house was just as the pictures & write-up described. It was clean & in excellent condition. The beds were very comfortable. There were unexpected extras like beach toys & body boards for our grandchildren. We had 6 adults & 2 kids and there was plenty of room. It was located 3 short blocks from the was a great experience.
