You spoke and we listened! Carpet has been replaced with new flooring, new cabinets and countertops in the kitchen and new furniture and furnishings throughout!
The unit is generously proportioned and features nine-foot ceilings, quality interior detailing, and wall to wall sliding glass doors. You will enjoy spectacular ocean views from the living room, dining room, kitchen, and master suite. The condominium is well appointed with a living and dining area, over-sized oceanfront furnished balcony, fully equipped kitchen which opens into the living area, and three generously sized bedrooms. The dining room table seats 6 with additional bar seating at the kitchen counter.
Located oceanfront on St. Simons Island, the St. Simons Grand condominiums are spectacular in every way. Enter through the private gates into a luxurious oceanfront community offering a direct ocean view from every residence. In the community’s center courtyard are lagoons, lush landscaping, gas grills and a seasonally heated oceanfront swimming pool. Beyond the swimming pool, a sidewalk guides guests to a private boardwalk to the beach giving you easy access to put your toes in the sand! Other St. Simons Grand amenities include gated access from Ocean Boulevard, covered parking, elevator, wireless internet service and nighttime property patrol.
St. Simons Grand is located on Ocean Boulevard near the Coast Guard Station Public Beach Access and the well-loved East Beach neighborhood of St. Simons. Easy walking distance to local favorite restaurants – Crabdaddy’s, Crab Trap and Beachcomber BBQ.

We had a wonderful vacation staying at St. Simons Grand. The check in and check out process was easy and very streamlined. Everything was organized. The room was clean and comfortable. The views were gorgeous! We loved that it was on the beach as well! We hope to return!

The unit was a comfortable 3 bed/3 bath unit so we each had our own space. Kitchen was apparently recently renovated and had everything you need. We only made breakfest and lunch but would have been able to make a full dinner as well. The property itself is also nicely maintained. There were a few issues with the door and TV not working but the property manager handled the issues quickly.

We had read reviews of this condo, which weren't all that great, but really wanted to stay at the Grand. It was great. Yes, the sliding doors were hard to open and the keys were hard to work in the door and a lamp wasn't working, BUT, you can't beat the Grand. The swimming pool was right there, easy access to the beach, beautiful views on the balcony. Could easily bike or walk to dinner or a few shops and fishing. We loved St Simons and the Grand.

Overall it was good. Condo needed some upkeep and upgrades. Not sure what happened to the beach - it’s a problem getting to the water with the “mote” as we called it running between boardwalk & coastline. It did not used to be that way so not sure what happened. Huge negative for a return trip. Select beachfront property for ease and it was not easy. Realize that is not on management company but passing it along as to reason why it was less than stellar.

Real Escapes was great to work with. This unit is in a wonderful location and the community amenities were outstanding. The unit has a great view and has a really good layout and the balcony is large with an awesome view. The condo in general is not well maintained. It was clean but most fixtures looked awful from tarnish and age. The Master bedroom TV has a huge blot in the middle of the screen. The blinds in the living area and master were broken in multiple places. Cabinets were coming apart in the master bath and the counter top is cracked in the kitchen. The unit is furnished well but it seems the owner must only use this as an investment property and puts little to no care in the upkeep overall.

The rooms are really nice. Great view of the ocean. Only thing that we saw that needed fixing is the TV in the master bedroom. Other than that it is a great place to stay. They have both luggage and grocery carts that I think are both very helpful.

This complex is absolutely beautiful and well kept by maintenance crew, has easy access to beach and a beautiful pool. If your up for a nice walk or bike rides, there are plenty of sightseeing and eateries close by also a brewery if your into that. This unit too is nice and very spacious. You can tell there have been some updates in this unit. I do suggest replacing mattresses in 2 extra bedrooms, all had sore backs by end of trip. Also replace the couches in living room from 1970’s, they are just uncomfortable and not at all accommodating for a tall person to sit. Other then that we would definitely come back to this complex.

The Grand is beautiful, the layout of the condo is perfect, just needs simple details. We thought the condo was nice however there were not rugs or mats to wipe feet or shoes on. We tried to wipe sand off on towels. The carpet was very dirty and worn out. One of the twin beds squeaked so much my daughter slept on the couch two nights. I would not choose this exact condo again but I would definitely work with Real Escapes again.

The Condo is spacious and well laid out however the owner needs to do several things:

Coffee maker will not keep coffee warm. Deck furniture needs some attention. Sliding doors to deck need work... one of them will not open. Ice maker has got a problem... dumps ice all over the floor when in the crush mode. There was no toilet paper in the 3rd bath , no soap in twin bed bath. Always enjoy The Grand but not sure we would rent this unit again.

We really enjoyed our stay in #224! The location was perfect- easy to get to the pool, beach, and a quick walk or bike ride to the village. The unit was kept really clean, although it is a bit aged. One suggest for improvement is to update the kitchen supplies (pots, pans, utensils) and add things like a blender.
Real Escapes was very friendly and they addresed my issues.

Property was pricey for the outdated decor, kitchen, and baths. It was roomy with a great view and beach access. The outside door lock was difficult to open and had to purchase WD-40 to enable easy access. Multiple bulbs burnt out but realty replaced immediately upon notification. Roaches in rental. Don’t believe they were Palmetto bugs. Looked them up on internet. Could have been better for price.

The Grand complex is beautiful to stay! Convenient , right on beach and pet friendly. But the unit itself needs some updating. The kitchen appears to be well stocked but upon closer look , toaster and coffee pot were so dirty we had to purchase our own. Cabinet tops are cracked, cabinet doors are peeling and dirty. Sliding door locks are broken and also screen doors do not close well. We appreciated the new porch furniture .Entire unit needs more than a light cleaning!! Needs a good scrubbing and painting. But we love the area and did rebook for next year.

I'm a long time fan of St Simons and the Grand never disappoints! The condo was in fantastic condition with all of the amenities you would expect of a Top Notch place! Coming back in June of '24.
