Demere Landing #127

The condo was nice and very spacious. We particularly liked the fact that each bedroom had its own bathroom and walk-in closet which offered everyone privacy.

Property location convenient for biking anywhere you wanted to go. Very comfortable accommodations. Other reviews were concerned pet stains however only saw a samll area in one bedroom and there was no pet odor. Property was very clean and well maintained. A bonus was the garage for bikes and beach gear. Would stay again.

This townhouse was in a great location and the 2 car garage was an added bonus, as parking is very limited. It was 3 levels with the main bedroom on level 2 and 2 additional on level 3. The elevator worked great. My only complaint is that the carpets were stained. I would get rid of the carpet and replace with a flooring that can be cleaned and disinfected. For people with allergies and with this property being pet friendly, carpets are not conducive. Otherwise, it would have gotten 5 stars. Beds were comfortable but pillows are flat and mattress pad is well worn out. Minor fixes

The townhouse was very nice and everything it was advertised to be. My wife especially appreciated the elevator since her left foot is still in a cast.

The family enjoyed our stay in the townhome. The elevator works well and helps with the unloading. The beach is a very comfortable walk away from the townhouse with great public beach access. We would stay here again.

Huge condo with plenty of room for 6 adults. Added bonus of an office with a pull out sofa bed so even more sleeping room that expected. Well stocked kitchen and nicely furnished unit. Will definitely consider staying in this unit again! Owners do need to consider new flooring upstairs.

Another great time on SSI! Except for a few elevator issues our stay in 127 was terrific,again! Great location, fantastic weather,unbeatable biking, what else can we say? Oh yes, Real Escape Properties is always there for you.

This condo is awesome. Plenty of room to spread out and having covered balconies and the garage a big plus. Love it so much we plan to come again next year.

The location and condo were both great! Our only issue we had was the dirty carpets from pets that had been there. As usual Real Escapes was wonderful!

Overall very nice. Just a couple of comments that might improve future renters. Suggest a larger bar of soap. The TVs need to work and all have same channel available. Two TVs would not work and had to spend an hour each getting them to connect to cable. Wi fi is poor. Does not work on top floor.

Carpets were really stained and the fire alarms went off for over an hour and maintenance had to be called to come and remove them early in the am. Pool was small.

The property was as described except we had more room than expected. The house has almost everything needed expect for a few more starter items such as hand soap in the kitchen and bathrooms. They had bar soap available. Overall the place was nice and great location to all activities on the island. The property management company was great and even called us a day before to let us know we could check in early which usually doesn't happen when we rent places. The pickup and drop off process was easy.

Great place. Has everything. Plenty of space, well appointed rooms. There were a few small issues initially, but the management company responded and handled promptly. The king bed mattress is not the greatest and the view from main balcony is very blah! We are very happy with unit and look forward to coming again in the future.

We have stayed in this rental previously. Tons of space for our family of 7. Very open - we love having the garage and elevator for hauling luggage and groceries!
Would definitely recommend the owner to update carpeting throughout the home. All carpets were absolutely littered with stains, which wasn't the case just last year. Real Escape verified that carpets had been cleaned, but would recommend replacing if stains remain, as it gives an overall feeling of uncleaniliness. Beds are super comfy but better pillows needed - we had to use 2-3 just to have head support, as the ones on beds are very thin. Lastly, either the prior renters or cleaning service put all towels and sheets into closet while still damp, so we had to wash and dry everything upon arrival.
Real Escape is easy to work with and very flexible and addresses everything immediately - this seems to be more of a homeowner issue with a few minor updates needed. We enjoyed our week visiting with family and absolutely adore SSI and Demere Lansing, which is super close to beaches and everything else on the island.

Have stayed in this property for the last 4 years and have always been satisfied. Real Escapes are a great property management company to deal with.

The king size is extremely uncomfortable and you sink into the middle. My only recommendation would be to buy a new king size mattress and protective cover. The protective cover was torn and ripped when we removed the sheets. The rental had plenty of room for us, our children and grandchildren to visit. Thank you for allowing us touse your home.

There was a mix up in getting keys after hours. Other than that, it was a perfect stay.

The house was incredible, and in a very nice location. Everything from restaurants, bike rentals, and the beach were all located within walking distance of the house. It was very clean and more than enough room for any family!

We had a great time staying at #127 Demere Landing. It is so close to the beach and to the Village. The home was very clean and very spacious. My son loved the fact that we could hook up to Netflix. We would definitely stay there again.

Everything was fine. Our only complaint would be that the unit is pet friendly and we would recommend a deep cleaning of the unit frequently for guests such as us who don't have pets, especially the living room couches.

The best vacation ever! Excellent accommodation. Everyone loved the spacious condo. Definitely a home away from home. The elevator made it possible for everyone to have easy access and to be able to enjoy every aspect of the condo. We were happy to be so close to the beach & restaurants and the pier.

The condo has been great. Very little noise from the neighbors. The pool is maintained well.

The condo was very nice. Only a few things wrong. The bed weren't very comfortable. It need to have more washcloths. Also need more starter paper products. Over all a great place with a good locations.

The moment we entered the condo we knew we had made a mistake. The carpet was the dirtiest most disgusting carpet I'd ever seen in my life. There were more stains than carpet. I refused to take my shoes for the entire time I was there.

We had a great time. For most of us, it was our first trip together. I have not stayed overnight with my aunt and cousins in years, I think I was a teenager. Anyway, the rental was very nice and it had lots of space and storeage. The walk to the beach was nice and not too far. We were able to cook and order out. The area is very nice and quiet. Neighbors were friendly and people around town were also friendly. This was a great trip because we were looking for a trip where we could hang out together and not worry about the area being over populated. Great town, great rental equals happy family.

Big condo with lots of space. Not clean upon arrival-even after cleaning crew left. Inadequate towels/bedding for 8 people. Real Escapes office staff met those needs promptly. Nice condo community and we love St Simons been going there for years.

Reserving our vacation rental was easy. The staff at Real Escape Properties were very friendly and helpful when we went to get our keys. Thank you so much for the breakfast recommendation. Demere Landing #127 has beautiful curb appeal. It was a pleasant surprise to have a personal elevator to take us up 3 floors. The two car garage was an added bonus. Each floor was wonderfully decorated and updated. The rental accommodated my family of 5, my sister and my nephew, and parents. Everyone had plenty of room. It was nice to have a full size kitchen to prepare food for our family reunion. My only complaint is the sleeper sofas were not comfortable. You could feel the coils. They need to be updated. We had to buy air mattresses for our boys to sleep on after the first night. Thank you for providing a Home away from home.

Good location. Safe, comfortable, easy pace of life, great golf. Weather was cooler than expected.

We thoroughly cleaned when we arrived Dec 29, finding much long, light brown hair.
The carpets looked as if someone had tossed coffee across the room and up the stairs. As requested a rug cleaning co. did a very good job in 30 minutes on Dec 30.
But I only wiped the fridge shelves, upon arrival, and did not remove drawers, etc. On Feb 27 I cleaned the fridge, removing every drawer and shelf.
There was more long lt brn hair in the bottom of the fridge!
Since there are 4 different sizes of beds in the house it would help greatly if all sheets and blankets were marked T, F, Q or K.
We never found a 2nd twin blanket.
We had to replace many light bulbs AGAIN this year. Thanks to the new owners, who had a basket of light bulbs in the closet.
Some of the upholstered furniture--which was new last year, has some bad stains.
Also, it was nice to have deck furniture--though it was too cold to use it very much!

2nd year--Jan and Feb. Again it needed to be cleaned, which we did ourselves upon arrival. This year we found hair on the carpets and in bathrooms, a pacifier under a chair. We vac'd - it filled the canister 1/3rd full. The carpets looked as if coffee had been tossed on it, and up the stairs. They were cleaned the next day. Missing towels sent via cleaning people, had globs of hair within the folded towels. Also within blankets which had been missing. Now that we have cleaned the place we like it a lot.

We had such a great time plenty of space and very clean. However the kitchen was not well equipped with the pots,pans spatulas or can opener type things that would be the only complaint about this unit. Also a key to the elevator was not provided to us at check in so we had to carry all of our luggage up all the stairs. By the time we thought to call to get the key we had already brought all our stuff up. Thank you for this rental we really did enjoy ourselves and look forward to staying here again next year.

They told us the carpets had been cleaned before our arrival, but there must be deep stains, especially on the stairs, for we noticed spots re-appearing within days of our arrival.
We usually remove our shoes when entering our own home, and did the same here.
There were many nice days when we would have enjoyed lunch or time out on the deck, but there is no porch furniture.
That would be nice.

Not very well cleaned before arrival. Window sills below V blinds were vert dusty.
Hardwood floors had hairy dust (animal?)
Some towels are worn and soiled.
Washer agitates harshly. Sometimes does not fill enough to rinse well.
Very minimally furnished kitchen.
Fridge was not wiped out (Ice had "evaporated," had been there quite a while!
Lettuce freezes and ice cream stays soft.
MW turntable is noisy, as is DW water pump.
Carpets need thorough deep shampooing.
Dave has been very helpful when we could not remedy a problem.
All drains were very slow.
Need written directions for using TV's.
OK except for the barking dog behind the fence.
Would be nice to have small table and chairs on decks.
